We need to move past theories and discussions and get into action mode !!

Recently, I have been part of a growing number of discussions both in person and online around ways we can improve and elevate the function.

There are obviously huge gaps in the way the people function operates and it also varies market to market and types of companies. We have generally establish that privately owned family businesses are far behind in the overall scheme of things. Unfortunately, in many cases it is led by owners/leaders of the business who are still not convinced as to the value the people function brings and therefore HR is ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—น๐˜† ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐˜๐—ถ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜‡๐—ฒ๐—ฑ/๐—บ๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐˜๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ฑ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜‚๐—ฒ๐—ฑ. Even in MNCs, at operating company level, the level of support is not as great as it should be sometimes.
